you know when you try and be nice and you invite your parents to an event because you think it will be nice and they might like the experience...but really your totally wrong and the whole thing just pisses you right off and you wantto smack both of them with some sense of adventure!?!?!? yea...i know that feeling...

last night was dear alexis' concert jumble of music evening...and those who were to come with me failed and did not come...my mother showed some interest so i thought it would be nice if she came...since alexis is her niece and all...then tarchi found out about it and decided to come aslo...

now them knowing alexis should have some what expected what this might be like...not your typical eve of music...

so we went down and i had written the address down but for some reason had another address in my head...so i am telling them where it is and we cant find it...driving and driving...so finally dad pulls over and parks and mom says that we will just walk and find it...so she plugs $4 into the meter which gives us only an hour and we walk...

HA...then after 10 minutes of not finding the place smelly pulls out the addy and realizes they are on the wrong street...SUPER...so mom gets pissed that we just wasted 4 bucks...and dad gets all annoyed and smelly is pissed because they are pissed...not good

so we get to the joint and moms all sketched out by the lack of cleanliness and dads annoyed...i dont remember why...i think because of the beer...and smelly - being ms. sensitive when it comes to the parentals - is just annoyed at their lack of acceptance to strange places...

so i find alexis and she is wearing her 'donna summers disco nightmare' dress with sparkly things every where and shes eating her chinese food and talking to us...and there are people everywhere and no ones paying attention to anything, nor do they know whats going on...

alexis and her friend get up on stage and play...but no one is paying attention...moms freakin out because there is a guy with a mohawk sitting behind her..

.alexis was done on the piano and people start to clap which then made everyone else realize that it had started...so they shut up

the people who played were good...except all i could do was sit and stare at the guy infront of me who looked exatly like matt stone...even the hair...


so we were there a total of like an hour and dad wanted to leave ...and i felt like shit because i was there for alexis and her friends but i had to leave with them because smelly had no other way of getting home...

alexis told me today that it was awesome last night and that after i left all the good stuff happened...

and thats what i get...try and be nice to the parentals and they shaft you...i should have just gone by myself...i hate it when you invite someone somewhere and the whole time they just sit there annoyed and you feel like you have to entertain them...gawd...
