so yesterday after work drew and i went canoeing at burnaby lake...drew - also known as drewski - works with me in the warehouse and likes to beat me up while singing panic at the disco...its our song...

my cousin alexis helps out at bby lake every thrusday night because you can rent canoes and kayaks and stuff so when she told me about it i was totally down with going...and since drewski talks all the time about going canoeing i was like - you are coming with me - and he was down with that too...

i had been canoeing before up at lightning lake in manning park and so i was super excited to go because i love lakes and mountains and all that kinda of stuff...i didnt want to kayak tho because it scares me...but i might try it next time...

drew is quite the character...hes a wrestler...and has a website with a most interesting picture of himself on it...you have to go to roster and click drew sarian (which isnt even his real name...now is it mr. andrew smith...)


he just recently dyed have his head black and the other half blond so we call him the half emo half white trash boy...but it looks hella cool when he does a fux hawk...his aunt and uncle work with my dad and that was kinda random to find out about each other since we've never met until this job...

the lake was mostly full of lilly pads which made it most awkward to canoe around because we didnt want to get stuck...and the water was not the nicest because it was full of plants and more plants which was odd...but over all it was nice and relaxing and a good arm workout...

i think next time i will try the kayaks...

everybodys working for the weekend

i dont want to go to work and be bored again cause there is no work
just over a month left and then no more work
but sometimes we get free pizza and that makes me happy
i think im going canoeing right after work tonight

i miss pretty hair...

my hair is pissing me off...i was looking at pictures from austalia and how amazing my hair looked when i first got it done and now its all darkened and grown out and i so want to get it re done...even tho matt hates streaks i still think they look pretty cool and want to get them done again...i just need to find a hair dresser and not pay a billion dollars to get it done...

i started to cut up the pants last night but didnt start to sew them yet...since they are mens pants the fit all funny like in the waste beacuse they dont taper in like womens pants do beacuse men dont have hips so they dont need tapering...i still like mens pants better tho...

i put pictures up of my whislter long weekend trip considering i never actually ended up blogging about it or anything so go view if you like...

im going out tonight with chiquitita juliana who i havent hung out with in forever so im excited...we are going to eat ice cream and look at grad pictures and gossip about italians...i should prob go get un sweaty and clean up a little...that might be good...

salsa vs. salsa verde

i love blogging right after i have a shower cause im all clean and not dying of heat and it feels good to sit and be cool...

so the summer is like almost over and its partially scary and its partially good because registering for school last week made me excited for it...one because its fun and two because i want it all to end!!! it feels like i havent done that much beacuse i was in austalia for a month and i have been working every day and then alicia came...

when im at work i get all excited with plans for things i want to do and then by the time i get home i dont do any of them beacause i am tired and hot and just want to do nothing...but not tonight...im going to be productive and im going to make knee shorts out of these old man pants i bought at value village last year and they will be super hot...

saturday night we went to my uncles house with some of my moms friends and played bocce...i was the official photographer and judge...we also gave the dog a bath for fun...the red balls were salsa and the green ones were salsa verde...
yesterday was our big italian picnic at the local park...we are members of an italian organization of people all from the same province in italy and my mom is on the head commitee for it so we plan banquets and picnics and parties...i got to eat pasta and sausages and see every italian i know and play more bocce...i love being italian...

we are planning a cool camp out with my chiquitita cousins for the august long weekend so hopefully it will all work out and we can sleep in tents in back yards...yay for summer sleeps in back yards...i will have to teach them all the italian nation anthem

SEAGULLS SEAGULLS

friday night plans got cancelled and the parentals were planning to ride there bikes around the seawall so i called up d-unit and we took off in the big silverado down to the water...

it was super nice out and not that hot so the ride was good...

i was telling dario how in austalia the seagulls are like half the size as the ones here which makes them 10 times cuter cause things that are small are cute...then he tells me this...

"they hold a whole new significance to me...on the job site when a hot chick walks by on the street you hear SEAGULL being shouted all around the jobsite, and if shes especially hot we make gull sounds...as best we can anyways" ...well then...

people kept passing us on the seawall and i was right behind dario when these two chicks ride past us and i look at them...then i ride up to dario and im like 'did you just see that???' and hes like 'omg'...these two chicks had more armpit hair then we have ever seen...it was almost unbelievable...like maybe it was their actual hair just caught under there armpits...but no it was not...

it didnt take us long to ride around the whole thing and it was an easy ride...after the biking we went for ice cream and dario being dario had to taste the garlic ice cream which he then regreted...but i laughed at him...hahaha

girls dont like boys...girls like cars and money

...actually give me a motorcycle instead...

i just had a shower and am sitting here im a towel...its quite refreshing...my window is open but its not too windy...

so i have decided that all boys worth dating need a good kick in the ass...slap across the face...and a lesson in what the hell we want from them...because really they are obviously clueless...and each girl is different so it is important to guide them in the right direction...

i dont want a pansy ass tho...someone who will take all the shit i give them and not react to it...no i want someone who will take but also give it back...cause its no fun to just sit there calling them an ass hat...i need someone who will call me an ass hat back ... then we can sit and have beers and be ass hats together...

hugs are important...and boys need to remember that...sometimes a simple hug can fix everything...and sometimes a hug and new jewelry can fix everything..

boys also need to be thoughtful too...cause thats what makes us fall inlove with you...unless we are purly in it for the money...in that case buy us stuff...and lots of it...

and anyone whos says looks aren't important is just kidding themselves...cause seriously are you going to make out with someone you think is ugly...hell no...

ahhh...a night of nice outfits, betting on horses, drinkin beer and being classy...thats what i call a friday night...

me and c and s headed down to hastings race track last night to test our chances at winning...and we did not so bad...shaz totally beat the crap out of chad and i but then again she knew what she was doing and we had no friggin clue...

we started by picking horses purely on the coolness of their name...and we lost...so we tried picking horses by their odds...and we won...then we did a combination and got cocky and we would have won somewhat big but chad didnt listen to me and bet on the wrong thing so we didnt win as much as we could...tho we were only betting 2 bucks a pop...

shaz was crazy good and was winning all this money and chad and i just sat there and were like WTF...shes the master...we need to learn from her...

the view from the stands is friggin amazing beacuse you get to sit there and look at the mountains and its so beatiful and makes you love the city 100 times more then you already did...and aside from the crazy old asian dudes the fart behind you and smoke crazy smelling cigars its a pretty sweet place to spend your time and your money...

humm...i wonder what i will be doing next friday night...

i attempted to clean my room for the 10th time today...i got as far as dusting my window sill thing...thats about it...i will actually clean it on saturday i think...but i did listen to my birthday gift from peter which included a bunch of cds with un released matt good music on them and they totally rocked...

im really tired now...i lifted too many heavy boxes at work today...but it was kinda fun...for like a second...

should i stay or should i go???

so im not so sure about this blogging business anymore...

i was definitly more into it last year when i was obsessed with everything under the sun...but this year it feels as if i have almost grown out of it...im not sure...it seems as if the purpose it served me last year has ended and that now something needs to change...im not even sure how to describe it...

i just dont feel the desire to blog very much anymore...i dont read blogs as often as i use to...i spend way less time on the computer...its almost as if that ship has sailed but i keep doing it because i should do it...it was so nice in austalia when i didnt have to blog every day...even though i did feel the urge to every so often...and its not like its the law that i blog every day or something...but i feel like i should...im totally not sure anymore...

i feel like i have grown up...im not the same as i was and im not sure if blogging fits into my 'new grown up state'

im just rambling...im in a state of i dont know at the moment...i dont know what i want...in the blogging world...or in any world for that matter...

alicia is gone and i am sad...

i think its pretty clear that all my friends are guys cause girls just piss me off and are way too girly...so its very odd for me to connect with a girl and actually get a long with her...

but alicia is different...why??? cause alicia is just like me...when we were in whistler and hung out with my maverick (not the tv) he said that everything alicia did reminded him of me...her actions, the way she talked, the things she said...were just like me...

it crazy to have met someone half way around the world who is like me in so many ways...we love the same movies...bands...everything...this trip was crazy cause i would say something and alicia would be all 'ME TOO!!!'

we sang top gun this weekend...and then i turned on the tv tonight and it was on...

its been a hellava long time since i had a best friend who was a girl but alicia fits the bill...now shes all back in aussie land and im all here in canada land and i miss her...DAMNIT
